A two-sport star for LVC in the late 1970's, Paul Keyes was a key contributor for the men's soccer and lacrosse teams. Picking up a lacrosse stick for the first time in 1977, he quickly became a standout for the Dutchmen on attack. Keyes earned three consecutive all-conference honors, including back-to-back first-team awards as a junior and senior. He led the MAC in scoring with 33 goals in 1980 and was twice named MVP of the men's lacrosse team. On the soccer field, Keyes played four positions in four years and became the first player in program history to be named team MVP on three occasions. After taking over as the squad's goalkeeper as a senior, he capped his career by leading the conference in goals against average.
