She became the program's first player to earn all-America honors following her junior campaign before following it up with a second all-America honorable mention nod as a senior. Goodfellow was named the MAC Commonwealth Rookie of the Year after a stellar debut season in 2003, was named to the MAC Commonwealth All-Conference second team the next year, and earned first-team all-conference honors as a junior and senior. She earned back-to-back first-team all-region recognition and in 2006, she ranked fifth in the nation with a 5.55 kills per game average. She also made her mark as a track & field runner during her senior year.
