Amanda Ott Templeton `00 – Field Hockey

Just one of 12 LVC field hockey players to earn multiple all-America honors, Amanda Ott Templeton `00 was a key contributor to the quiet confidence and immense success of Flying Dutchmen field hockey at the turn of the century.  Her efforts helped lead Lebanon Valley to four straight NCAA tournament appearances, a Middle Atlantic Conference title, and a pair of NCAA Final Four appearances. She was named an NFHCA All-American during LVC's MAC championship-winning season in 1997 before repeating the feat again in 1999. Ott Templeton earned NFHCA All-Region honors on three occasions from 1997 to 1999 and was named the 1998 MAC Player of the Year. During her sophomore and senior seasons, won NCAA regional championships and advanced to the Final Four. In 2013, she was named to the MAC's All-Century Field Hockey team. Ott Templeton was the head field hockey coach at ELCO for six years before accepting the school's librarian and English department chair positions in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
