A co-captain and co-MVP for the 1994 national championship men's basketball team, John Harper anchored one of the most memorable teams in LVC history with his scoring presence inside and on the perimeter. His 1,266 career points ranks 17th all-time at LVC, and he remains the season record-holder for three-point percentage when he buried 51.1 percent of his tries (48-of-94) in 1991-92. He was named to the NCAA All-Tournament team for his play, which included a key 17-point performance in the national semifinal against Wittenberg. Harper is a Middletown native who currently resides in Cambridge, Md.
