Academic Assistance
Academics are the highest priority of an LVC education and of the NCAA Division III experience. If your student-athlete needs help, improvement, tutoring, or other services, there are many services available to LVC students:
- Encourage your son or daughter to meet with their professors. The professors at LVC are dedicated and encourage one-on-one meetings to help students with academic problems and concerns.
- As soon as a professor assigns a paper, encourage your son/daughter to seek help at the Writing Center. The Writing Center is free and is run by students who have been trained to help with the writing process.
- Peer tutors are free and available for any student at LVC. To sign up for a tutor, a student can go online or request one through their department's offices.
- If the student is an athlete, encourage him or her to meet with the coach and discuss the academic problems or concerns. The coach can also direct the student-athlete in the right direction.
For more information on academic support services, contact Sarah Bartz (
bartz@lvc.edu) in the Center for Academic Success or your student-athlete's head coach.

Health Insurance
Lebanon Valley College provides Secondary Athletic Accident Insurance for all student-athletes. This insurance is in addition to each student's primary insurance, and all athletics-related claims must be made to the student's primary insurer before being submitted to LVC's supplemental coverage. The Athletic Accident Insurance is comprehensive, but it has standard limitations. It does not cover expenses due to illness or non-athletically-related injuries. Athletic injures must occur during a scheduled practice or game in the traditional and non-traditional season as specified by the NCAA.

Athletic Training page.

Merchandise
The
GoDutchmen.com Store sells fully customizable merchandise (including Nike brand apparel) covering all of LVC's teams.
We welcome parents and families of student-athletes who create tokens of support for their sons and daughters (t-shirts, hats, buttons or nametags including pictures and/or names). As these items are created and distributed, please do not do so for a profit or a fundraiser - NCAA bylaws do not allow the use of a student-athlete's name, likeness, photo, or appearance to be sold by outlets outside the institution. Items should not include endorsements of commercial products.
NCAA Rules
Lebanon Valley College athletics operates in full compliance with all rules and regulations set forth by NCAA Division III and the Middle Atlantic Conference. LVC strongly believes in conducting its intercollegiate athletics program with integrity. All student-athletes and parents are required to abide by these rules. Any questions relating to NCAA compliance should be directed to assistant athletic director Stacey Hollinger (
