LVC’s second-leading tackler of all-time, Greg Hessinger ’87 was a standout linebacker for the Valley in the 1980s. Hessinger’s 452 career stops between 1983 and 1986 remain second in the record books 26 years later, and his 163 tackles in the 1984 season ranks in the top five. His 95 assists that season are a school record.

A two-time team MVP, Hessinger is the only LVC student-athlete to win the Chuck Maston, John Zola, and Scott Wallace awards. He also captained coach Jim Monos’ first LVC team in 1986. Hessinger earned two letters as a member of LVC’s baseball team.
