Mark Sypher

Mark Sypher was an eight-letter, two-sport athlete for the LVC men's basketball and track & field teams. A triple-jumper, Sypher set the school record at 44-3 in 1979, a mark that stood until 1989 and today is still fifth all-time. He earned all-MAC honors in 1980, as well. On the basketball court, Sypher was a team captain and three-year starter, and he earned LVC's Chuck Maston Award as a senior.

He has owned Sypher Construction for over 20 years, and has remained active in sports with local youth teams. In recent years, Sypher has been involved in motorsports, and is the owner of TCS Racing, which has an entry in the NASCAR Whelen Modified series.
