Hall of Fame
A three-sport athlete at LVC, Joda Glossner Alian ’95 played field hockey, basketball, and softball for the Valley from 1991 to 1995. As a standout for the LVC field hockey team from 1991 to 1994, she helped lead the Dutchmen to three consecutive NCAA appearances from 1991-93 while winning a pair of MAC titles in 1991 and 1992. Alian was named All-America and All-Region in 1994, and was an Academic All-American in 1992 and 1993. Alian scored six goals and nine assists in her career out of the midfield.
After graduating from LVC, Alian became an assistant field hockey coach under Kathleen Tierney before moving on to earn her graduate degree at Penn State while assisting with the Juniata College women’s basketball team.
