Dale Oehler `75 – Men's Lacrosse
A four-year starter for Lebanon Valley College's men's lacrosse team in the early 1970s, Dale Oehler `75 began a life-long love of the sport as a high school player in Connecticut that continues to this day. His LVC career got underway during the 1972 season and culminated with his being named a senior captain four years later. Oehler's efforts on the field led to him twice being named an All-Middle Atlantic Conference All-Star and his strong play helped lead the Flying Dutchmen to back-to-back postseason berths as a freshman and sophomore. In 1973, Oehler and his LVC teammates competed in the inaugural NCAA-sanctioned men's lacrosse championship tournament. Following his collegiate career, he continued to play lacrosse across the country in cities including Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City. His involvement with the game continued when he established a youth lacrosse organization in New Jersey and served as the President of the New Jersey South Chapter of U.S. Lacrosse; the governing body of the lacrosse in the United States. He is an inductee of the New Jersey Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
