ANNVILLE, Pa. – Frank Carrozza, Lebanon Valley College's Head Women's Soccer Coach, announced that Courtney Browning was promoted to a full-time Assistant Coach after serving as an assistant the past two seasons.
Since Browning joined the coaching staff, the Dutchmen have improved their on-pitch production and advanced their record from 5-8-2 in 2023 to 8-8-2 last fall. She helped Lebanon Valley transition to the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom in 2024, and the program recorded eight points in the conference standings with two wins and a pair of ties during MAC Freedom competition.
Lebanon Valley has received six All-Conference selections over the past two years, including four last season. Browning has also coached two United Soccer Coaches All-Region IV players during her tenure with the Flying Dutchmen, as goalkeeper Jocelyn Umana garnered the recognition in 2023, and midfielder Darrian Berkheimer was presented with the honor for her efforts last year.
Browning played for the Division II Kutztown University Women's Soccer team for four seasons, contributing to the program's three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the Final Four in 2016. She graduated magna cum laude from Kutztown in 2020 with a bachelor's in Sports Management and a minor in Fitness Administration. Browning then began her coaching career as an Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at King's College for two seasons, including the 2021 campaign alongside Carrozza. She earned a master's in Health Care Administration from King's in 2022. Browning also served as the Head Coach of the U19 PA Classics NAL 06 Girls from 2023 to 2025.
Browning holds various coaching certifications, such as a USSF "C" Coaching License, a TOVO T-1 Positional Play Certification, a TOVO T-2 Positional Play Certification, a USC 11v11 Coaching Diploma, and a Dan Tudor Collegiate Recruiting Certification. She has also completed an APFC Positional Play Course and a TOVO Preparation and Activation Course. Additionally, Browning holds an AED/CPR/First Aid Certification. Along with her coaching experience after college, Browning competed for Eagle FC in the United Soccer Women's League for a year and Hershey FC in the Women's Premier Soccer League from 2018 to 2021.
