How It Happened
FORT PIERCE, Fla. – No. 11 La Roche College scored eight runs in the first three innings and put Lebanon Valley in a hole it couldn't climb out of, resulting in an 11-3 defeat on Monday afternoon. The Dutchmen dropped to 1-3, while the Red Hawks jumped to 3-4.
La Roche scored three times in the top of the first as Ian Velez stole home with the bases loaded to plate the game's first run and Joe Professori followed with a sacrifice fly. Next, Mitchell Yard hit an RBI-single to make it a 3-0 game. Then, in the top of the third, the Red Hawks roped three homers in the inning, two solo shots and a three-run homer to extend the lead to 8-0.
The Dutchmen weren't able to create any offense until the ninth inning when

Erik Paulus roped his first-career hit for a two-RBI single to score O'Shea and
Colin Albright, however LVC was unable to push any more runs across the board.
