SELINSGROVE, Pa. - Susquehanna jumped out to an early lead as they handed Lebanon Valley a 6-1 non-conference loss on Tuesday.
Devin Dellinger's seventh-inning home run was the only run for the Dutchmen (18-15) as the Crusaders (23-9) jumped out to a 5-0 run through two innings.
A first-inning error led to three unearned Susquehanna runs, all with two outs, and Jared Musilli's home run in the second made it 4-0 Crusaders before Dylan Glassmire's RBI single extended it to 5-0.
After a rain delay in the fourth, the game settled down before Dellinger homered to right center to make it 5-1, but Susquehanna added an insurance run in the eighth.
COrey Sell (1-3) went 3.1 innings in the loss with five runs allowed but only two earned;
Patrick Reagan threw 4.2 innings of relief allowing one run.
Zac Edwards again produced out of the lead-off spot, going 3-for-4, and
Zach Smith also had a two-hit game.
Eric Soranno (4-0) had the win in six innings pitched for SU.
LVC will visit Eastern on Wednesday.
