RADNOR, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's soccer team used an own goal, along with markers from senior Garth Stefan and freshman Josh Ferguson to cruise to a 3-0 victory over Cabrini on Friday afternoon.

Following an own goal by Cabrini going into the halftime break, Ferguson scored his third goal in the past two games just 42 seconds into the second stanza to give the Dutchman a 2-0 lead. Then, in the 76th minute, Stefan notched the first goal of his career to give LVC insurance and allow the squad to ride the clock for their third win of the year.

Senior goalkeeper James Clements and the LVC defensive unit were sound, allowing 13 Cabrini shots, but forcing Clements to make just two saves. The field general has not allowed a goal yet this season.

Offensively, junior Cam Alexander recorded five shots to lead the way with two on goal. Alex Detweiler, Gabe Stasyszyn, Matt Henly, and Taylor Walls also recorded a shot for the Dutchmen.

Next up for the Valley is a meeting with Eastern in Radnor, Pa. tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
