ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's soccer team took 20 shots on Tuesday evening at Herbert Field, but couldn't find the back of the net and held Muhlenberg scoreless for the 0-0 tie.

Chances were left out on the field for both sides as the pair of goalkeepers made their share of saves. Muhlenberg goalkeeper Amanda Wong turned away 12 LVC shots, while Lebanon Valley's senior goalkeeper Becca Sykes made five saves on the day.

Sykes had by far her best sequence in the 83rd minute blocking away back-to-back shot attempts from inside the 18 from Muhlenberg's CJ Graetzer and Gabriela De Frutos to keep the Mules off the board.

Muhlenberg held the edge in corner kicks, 5-3, and each team had one opportunity in the extra sessions. The Mules sent one in as the clock was winding down in the second overtime stanza, but the serve was long and the buzzer sounded on a 0-0 tie.

Amanda Douglass, Sarah Dowhower, Sammy Bost, and Heather Tran each posted three shots offensively, while Lindi Crist, Allison Korns, and Katie Deardorff added two shots each for the Dutchmen attack.

Next up for the Valley is a meeting with Eastern on Saturday at Herbert Field at 12 p.m.
