WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley racked up 15 hits and made use of five errors in beating King's 10-6 Tuesday night.

The Dutchmen (5-4) stranded four runners over the first three innings before exploding for five runs in the fourth. Jake Rhody opened the rally with a double to left-center. He advanced on a single by Jordan Witmer and scored on a sac fly by Aaron Mills.

Witmer came around to score unearned after advancing to second on an errant throw from the outfield. Jordan Higgins, Andrew Wooley, and Derek Brousseau also scored in the inning to give the Dutchmen a 5-0 lead.

King's (4-4) clawed back for four runs in the bottom of the fourth, including a solo homerun by shortstop Rob Lemoncelli.

Colt Zarilla opened the seventh inning with a single, advanced on a wild pitch and an error, and scored on a double by Higgins. His score was the only earned run of the inning. Rhody and Higgins scored unearned to give the team an 8-4 lead.

Ryan Schwartz walked in the eighth and scored on an RBI double by Rhody. Rhody scored on an RBI single by Mills two batters later.

Freshman lefty Jason Barthold pitched six innings in his second collegiate start. He earned the win for pitching six innings and allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks. He struck out two.

Lee Webber allowed the final two runs to King's in the bottom of the ninth. He pitched three innings and allowed five hits with one strikeout.

Witmer and Brousseau each recorded three hits in the game. For Brousseau, that marks a season high.

The Dutchmen play at DeSales Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
