Box Score

ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley Baseball dropped a 10-2 decision to Ursinus Thursday afternoon. Sophomore Ryan Schwartz went 2-for-4 at the plate, while classmate Dylan Holland batted in a run.

Ursinus opened the game with seven runs on three hits in the first, including a three run home run.

The Dutchmen (10-4) reached the scoreboard in the third, scoring two runs. A single to right field from Holland sent one run home, and Schwartz scored off a wild pitch.

That was as close as LVC came, with Ursinus adding two more in the sixth to put the game out of reach.

Sophomore Brian Miller started on the mound for LVC. Junior Peter Moro pitched four and two-thirds innings, while senior Josh Muscalus pitched the final three innings, striking out four.

LVC travels to Albright Friday afternoon to open Commonwealth Conference play with a game at 3:30 p.m.
