Ninth-Inning Comeback Fuels Win Over Marywood

FT. PIERCE, Fla. - Lebanon Valley picked up its first win of the season in dramatic fashion Wednesday, topping Marywood 6-4 thanks to a ninth-inning comeback.

The Dutchmen (1-4) scored four runs in the ninth to overcome a 4-2 lead by the Pacers (1-4).

After Grant Wiest tied the game with a two-run single in the top of the ninth, Aaron Mills banged a two-out two-run single of his own to break the 4-4 tie and take a 6-4 lead.

Nate Blough was then lights-out on the hill to end the game, picking up the win in the process.

LVC and Marywood will play again Thursday at 12:30 p.m., and LVC will take on Neumann Thursday night at 7 p.m.
