ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley Football Interim Head Coach Chris Thompson has announced the staff for the 2025 season, with three coaches moving into coordinator positions and the program hiring two recent graduates as quality control coaches.

Tyler Melhorn '19 will serve as the Offensive Coordinator, Jack Beidler '96 will be the Defensive Coordinator, and Pablo Beltran '23 moves into a full-time role as the team's Special Teams Coordinator, Academic Coordinator, Social Media Content Manager, and Head JV Coach. Thompson also has brought Jake Marcus '24 and Rylee Stahl '24 onto the staff as Quality Control Coaches.

Melhorn takes over as the Offensive Coordinator after two seasons as the Wide Receivers Coach. The 2019 graduate enters his fifth year on the Dutchmen staff and sixth year overall in coaching after spending the 2022 season at Oberlin College. Melhorn takes control of an offense that was ranked fourth in the MAC in total offense last year with 345.2 yards per game. The Dutchmen were fifth in scoring at 23.3 points per game, third in First Downs at 198, and second in time of possession at 31:39.

Beidler takes over as the Defensive Coordinator after three seasons coaching the inside linebackers and being the Special Teams Coordinator. The 1996 graduate is beginning his 16th season on the Dutchmen staff after 11 years as the Head Coach at Northern Lebanon High School. He takes over a defense that was ranked third in the MAC in total defense at 306.0 yards per game. The Dutchmen were second in the conference in scoring defense, allowing 20.1 points per game, and were first in the MAC and 26th in the nation with 15 interceptions. The Dutchmen were also second in the conference with two defensive touchdowns last season.

Beltran enters his third season on the Dutchmen staff and assumes the roles of Special Teams Coordinator and Head JV Coach after two years as the Defensive Intern. The 2023 graduate was a four-year linebacker for the Dutchmen. He takes over a special teams unit that led the MAC and finished 27th in the nation with two blocked punts, finished third in the MAC and 23rd in the nation with five blocked kicks, and did not allow a blocked punt. The Dutchmen were also strong on kickoffs as they led the conference and finished 22nd in the nation in kickoff returns and were third in the MAC in kickoff return defense.

Marcus joins the staff as a defensive quality control coach after an impressive career as a defensive tackle. The two-year captain played in 39 games over four years and accumulated 135 total tackles and 11 sacks. He was selected to the All-MAC Team as a second team honoree the past two years and earned a spot on the Academic All-MAC team this past year.
 
Stahl joins the staff as an offensive quality control coach after a great career as a wide receiver and punt returner. The four-time MAC Academic Honor Roll honoree played in 35 games during his career and scored three touchdowns on 54 receptions with a total of 512 yards.
