    Offensive Line Coach / Run Game Coordinator

Dr. Karl Liedtka '91 returned to the Lebanon Valley College Football coaching staff in 2022 as an Offensive Line Coach, marking his second stint with the Dutchmen after previously coaching for two seasons in the 1990s.

Liedtka brings over two decades of coaching experience, having spent 24 seasons at Lebanon High School. During his tenure in this role, he coached both the offensive and defensive lines, coordinated special teams, and served as Offensive Coordinator for four years. In addition to coaching, he continues to work as a School Counselor and serves as the K-12 Coordinator of Counseling Programs for the district.

A four-year letter winner at LVC, Liedtka was a three-year starter on the offensive line, team captain, and recipient of the prestigious John Zola Award. Since rejoining the LVC staff, he has coached multiple players who have earned All-MAC honors, including Walker Klinger (Second Team in 2022), Jacob Phillips (Second Team in 2021 and 2022, Honorable Mention in 2024), Hunter Hanna (Honorable Mention in 2023), and Trevor Gallagher (Second Team in 2023 and 2024). Phillips also garnered All-Region recognition in 2024.

Liedtka lives in Cleona, Pa., with his wife, Jen ’92, M’00, who serves as LVC’s Director of Advancement Research and Relationship Management, and their two sons, Jack and Max.
