ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley Men's Soccer Head Coach Charlie Grimes has announced the addition of Jackson Becher to the coaching staff as the full-time Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator.

"We are thrilled to have Jackson joining our program," said Grimes. "His thoughts on culture, relationships, recruiting, and soccer align well with our vision, values, and purpose. He will help us to maximize our potential on and off the field. We are happy to welcome him to our LVC Men's Soccer family."

Becher joins the Dutchmen staff after three years as the Head Junior Varsity Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach at nearby Central Dauphin High School. A former NCAA Division I student-athlete at University of Maryland at Baltimore County (UMBC), Becher continued his career at the professional level with the Harrisburg Heat of the Major Arena Soccer League. The forward has played for the Heat since 2022, scoring five goals and adding three assists in 21 games last season. Becher also coached for Penn FC Youth Soccer and LDC United since 2016.

"I am very excited to be part of the program and coaching staff at LVC," Becher stated. "I look forward to helping the team build upon its history of success by sharing lessons learned from my playing and coaching career. I'm ready to meet the team and start working toward another great season for LVC Men's Soccer."

Becher earned his master's degree in Psychology from Capella University in 2024 after receiving his bachelor's degree in Psychology from the UMBC in 2022. On the pitch, Becher played 59 games for the Retrievers, recording 13 points on four goals and five assists.

Prior to UMBC, he led Lower Dauphin High School to consecutive Pennsylvania State Championships in 2016 and 2017 and earned numerous impressive accolades. Becher received United Soccer Coaches All-America and All-Region honors twice in his scholastic career. He was also tabbed the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association (PSCA) Male Player of the Year in 2017 in addition to being named to the PSCA All-State team twice.
