Jackson Becher was named the full-time Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Lebanon Valley College men’s soccer team before the start of the 2025 season.
Becher joined the Dutchmen staff after three years as the Head Junior Varsity Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach at nearby Central Dauphin High School. During his time at Central Dauphin, he led practice sessions while striving to promote sportsmanship and collaborative teamwork. Becher also coaches for PA Classics Harrisburg, which was previously known as Penn FC Youth Soccer and LDC United. He has served in this role since 2016. Additionally, Becher has been a Mental Performance Coach at InnerGain since January 2025, where he focuses on helping athletes build confidence while developing mindset and training mental performance skills.
A former NCAA Division I student-athlete at the University of Maryland at Baltimore County (UMBC), Becher played in 59 games for the Retrievers, recording 13 points on four goals and five assists. He continued his career at the professional level with the Harrisburg Heat of the Major Arena Soccer League. The forward played for the Heat from the 2022-23 through 2024-2025 seasons, and posted five goals with three assists in 21 games during the 2023-24 campaign.
Becher earned his bachelor's degree in Psychology from the UMBC in 2022. He also received his master's degree in Psychology from Capella University in 2024.
Prior to UMBC, he led Lower Dauphin High School to consecutive Pennsylvania State Championships in 2016 and 2017 and earned numerous impressive accolades. Becher received United Soccer Coaches All-America and All-Region honors twice in his scholastic career. He was also tabbed the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association (PSCA) Male Player of the Year in 2017, in addition to being named to the PSCA All-State team twice.
