KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) released its 2024-25 academic awards this week with the Lebanon Valley Men's Basketball team earning the honor of being one of nearly 400 programs to earn the Team Academic Excellence Award while six Dutchmen were named to the Honors Court.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The Dutchmen had a strong year in the classroom with 10 members earning a spot on the MAC Academic Honor Roll with a 3.2 or higher GPA during the spring semester.
Kyle Tang led the way with a perfect 4.0.
