ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley Men's Basketball team had
Kyle Tang named Academic All-District® by College Sports Communicators (CSC) in a release by the professional organization earlier this week.
The Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the hardwood and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. In order to be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and have played in 90 percent of games or started in 66 percent of games this winter.
Tang is a junior Biology major from Vienna, Virginia. The guard played in all 25 games and made 24 starts. Tang averaged 27.5 minutes per game with 132 points, 96 rebounds, 100 assists, 38 steals, and two blocks. This is his second consecutive season earning Academic All-District honors.
