ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley Head Men's Basketball Coach 
Brad McAlester has announced seniors 
Kyle Tang and 
Karson Pavlik as captains heading into the 2025-26 season.
 
"Kyle and Karson are excellent leaders as well as great student-athletes," McAlester stated. "We are excited to see them mentor our young group this year. Kyle has been a starter for us every year, while Karson has given us significant contributions during his three years. Their experience and knowledge of the game will help us compete for a conference championship with a group of largely first-years and sophomores.
 
Tang has played in 73 games over his first three seasons at The Valley and has started 61 of them. The guard has averaged 27.5 minutes per game and scored 460 points with 260 rebounds. He has added 263 assists, including 100 last season, 127 steals, and nine blocked shots. Tang scored a career-high 21 points against Gwynedd Mercy and grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds against King's as a sophomore during the 2023-24 season. He dished out at least five assists in eight games last year, including a career-high nine at Cairn.
 
Pavlik has played in 49 games during his career and made 11 starts. The forward has scored 104 points and grabbed 70 rebounds in 544 minutes of action. He has 16 assists, eight steals, and two blocked shots in his career. Pavlik scored a career-high eight points against DeSales and grabbed a career-high nine rebounds against Neumann as a sophomore during the 2023-24 season.
