GRANTHAM, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's strong 2016-17 season came to an end in Sunday afternoon's MAC Commonwealth Championship Match. The Flying Dutchmen (12-6) fell 5-1 to the four-time defending champions from Messiah.

Jordan Heavel paired up to earn the lone win of the day for LVC. The twosome picked up an 8-6 victory over the Falcons' Alex Mantsevich and Blake Ross in the third doubles outing.
MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year Tim Dunn, Devin Esch, and Austin Warren picked up the match-deciding victories for Messiah in singles action to clinch the program's fourth conference championship in a row.
For Lebanon Valley, this season's appearance in the MAC Commonwealth Championship Match was the program's first since the 2012 campaign.
