ANNVILLE, Pa. – Senior Jesse Beck and junior Zach Schrader are among the pivotal performers set to lead the Lebanon Valley College men's tennis team this season, as the program targets a fifth consecutive trip to the conference championship match.  

The Dutchmen finished 12-11 overall with a 4-1 record against Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom opponents last season. Lebanon Valley also reached the MAC Freedom Championship final, where it battled against Stevens Institute of Technology. 

"We hope and expect to be back in the conference championship by the end of the season," Head Coach Jeff Robbins said. "That's going to require some of the sophomores to really make some big strides to fill the roles of the players who graduated." 

The key contributors who played their final season with the Dutchmen last year include four-time All-Conference honoree Adam Warren '25, D'27, three-time All-Conference selection Jake Erb '26, and Colin Brusse '26.  

Beck and Schrader, two All-MAC Freedom honorees, lead a list of 11 Lebanon Valley returnees. Schrader, a two-time All-Conference selection, tied for the team lead in doubles wins with a 12-7 overall record and added seven singles wins last season. Beck, a three-time All-Conference honoree and 2023 MAC Commonwealth Rookie of the Year, logged a 9-6 overall doubles record with seven singles victories. 

The Flying Dutchmen will also rely on senior Ethan Luu, junior Vincent Thompson, and sophomores Mason Dissinger (tied for team lead in singles wins with 10), Zachary Elmore, and Brayden Waiter to make an impact this year. Senior Jared Hostetter will compete for the program this fall as well, before graduating in December. Additionally, LVC expects its three first-year players to contribute.  

Lebanon Valley will open the 2026-27 season on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 4 p.m., against Dickinson College for the first of four home dual matches at the Shankroff Tennis Center this fall. LVC will wrap up the first semester on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 11 a.m., against Neumann University on Homecoming Saturday at the Shankroff Tennis Center.
