MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College men's tennis team dropped a closely-contested match by a score of 4-3 at Penn State Harrisburg on Wednesday afternoon on the courts at the Hoverter Tennis Center.
The Lions earned the doubles point by winning two of the three courts and then the teams split the six singles matches with LVC winning on courts four, five, and six.
Inside the Box
- Jesse Beck and Zach Schrader earned a doubles victory at the top flight with a 6-3 win. Mason Dissinger and Zachary Elmore dropped a close 6-4 decision at number two while Ethan Luu and Jared Hostetter also fell 6-4 at number three.
- Luu earned his first singles win of the year with a 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) decision at number four.
- Elmore also won in straight sets with a 6-4, 6-3 victory at number four for his second consecutive victory.
- Brayden Waiter needed three sets for a 6-3, 2-6, 6-2 victory at number six to improve to 2-1 on the season.
- Schrader played a tight match at number one dropping a 7-6 (7-3), 7-5 decision at number one.
- Beck dropped a 6-2, 6-3 decision at number two while Dissinger fell 6-3, 6-3 at number three.
