Men's Tennis' Win Streak Ends at Messiah

GRANTHAM, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's men's tennis team's season-long eight-match win streak came to an end with a 7-2 loss at MAC Commonwealth foe Messiah on Sunday afternoon.

Despite a strong showing for Nick Jones and Blake Martin in the top contest, the Flying Dutchmen (10-5, 5-1 MAC Commonwealth) were swept in doubles play and fell into an early 3-0 hole.

Reigning MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week Jonathan Hastings defeated the Falcons' Connor Graybeal 7-6 (7-0), 7-6 (7-5) in a competitive second singles outing and Blake Martin came away with a 6-4, 6-1 win victory over Austin Warren in the No. 4 matchup.

The Dutchmen will look to bounce back and end the regular season on a high note when they host Stevenson at the Shankroff Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon, April 29.
