HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Lebanon Valley faced off with Bridgewater in the team's penultimate match of its 2017 spring break slate on Wednesday afternoon. The Flying Dutchmen were swept 9-0 by the Eagles in Hilton Head, S.C.
Bridgewater (4-1) took all three doubles matches from LVC (2-3), with the tightest contest coming between
Nick Jones and
Blake Martin and Thomas Rishcoff and Emmett Johnson in the second doubles outing. The Eagles' duo was able to hold off Lebanon Valley's No. 2 pair and secure an 8-5 victory.
In singles action,
Brent Greco took three games from Joe Dillenbeck in the first set of their No. 2 matchup before falling 6-4, 6-0, while
Jordan Heavel made Johnson work to earn a 6-2, 6-3 victory in the sixth singles contest.
The Dutchmen finish up their time in South Carolina when they take on Eastern Nazarene tomorrow afternoon at 3:15 p.m.
