HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Lebanon Valley's men's tennis team opened the spring portion of its 2016-17 schedule against Baldwin Wallace in the first contest of the squad's spring break slate in Hilton Head, S.C. on Tuesday afternoon.
The Flying Dutchmen (2-2) dropped a 9-0 decision to the Yellow Jackets (8-1) in a match that was highlighted by
Brent Greco's return to the court,
Jonathan Hastings and
Jordan Heavel's tightly-contested doubles match, and Hastings' competitive singles outing.
Hastings and Heavel took BW's Brian Carano and Jake Elbin to the limit before falling 9-7 in the No. 3 doubles contest, while Hastings' third singles match against Matt Harris was the tightest of the solo efforts at 6-4, 6-2.
LVC will look to bounce back when the team takes on Bridgewater tomorrow afternoon at 12:30 p.m.
