ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley picked up its second straight win by defeating MAC Commonwealth foe Hood 6-3 on Saturday afternoon.
In doubles play,
Cody Manmiller and
Jonathan Hastings continued their strong play as of late, earning an 8-3 victory over the Blazers' number two pairing of Richard Hershey and Jorden Hahn. LVC's number three duo of
Jordan Heavel and
Elliott Kleckner put the Flying Dutchmen out in front after doubles competition thanks to their 8-1 win over Conor Riggin and Natnail Tesfay.
Hastings battled hard to take a 6-4, 5-7, 6-3 decision from Joe Benton in the number two singles showdown, while Manmiller also stayed perfect on the day by handling Hershey 6-0, 6-1 in the third singles matchup. Heavel's 6-0, 6-1 win over Riggin sealed the victory for LVC and
Joel Eisenhower's 6-0, 6-0 sweep of Tesfay in the number six slot put an exclamation point on the contest.
The Dutchmen will get right back to it tomorrow afternoon when they host King's (Pa.) for non-conference action at 1 p.m.
