HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Lebanon Valley fell 7-2 in a hard-fought outing to Division II Millersville on the second day of the team's spring break trip on Tuesday night, March 8.
The Flying Dutchmen doubles team of
Cody Manmiller and
Jonathan Hastings earned a tough 9-7 win over Millersville's team of Christian Boyer and Christian Akerle in the battle of the number two duos, while
Nick Jones and
Jordan Heavel made it tough on the Marauders' Dylan Ryan and Anthony Jadus in an 8-6 setback in the top doubles spot.
Hastings also had a strong showing in solo action as he earned the lone singles victory for LVC (1-4) when he bested Jadus 6-3, 4-6 (10-6) in the matchup of the teams' number two players.
The Dutchmen will wrap up spring break play on Thursday evening when they take on Millsaps at 3 p.m.
