ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's lacrosse team has been picked to place third in the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth 2016 preseason coaches' poll, announced Tuesday.

The Dutchmen received 49 points, while the defending champion, Messiah, was the unanimous No. 1 pick with eight first-place votes and 67 overall points. Stevenson came in second at with 57. Arcadia (39) and Albright (36) rounded out the top five, respectively.

LVC is scheduled to start its 2016 season on Feb. 20 against York (Pa.) here in Annville.
