READING, Pa. - Lebanon Valley clinched its eighth consecutive Commonwealth Conference Men's Tennis Championship Tournament berth with a 7-2 win at Albright on Sunday.

The Dutchmen (8-7, 4-1 CC) once again rode the strength of its line-up depth as it took care of the Lions (9-8, 1-4 CC). The result means that Lebanon Valley's final regular-season match against Stevenson, at home on April 25, will be for the CC's #2 seed and a home semifinal match. Both teams are 4-1 in CC play this spring.

Sam Calabria, Cody Manmiller, and Christian Grove each recorded a pair of wins, and Manmiller and Grove had to dig for three-set victories in singles. Calabria and Manmiller won their doubles match 9-7 at No.2 and Grove teamed with Jordan Heavel for an 8-0 win at No. 3; that gave LVC a 2-1 lead through doubles.

In singles, Calabria took care of business at No. 2 6-2, 6-0, and Manmiller rallied back from a set down to win 3-6, 6-3, 10-7 at No. 3. Grove held off Sean Purcell at No. 4 6-1, 3-6, 10-7, while Nick Jones and Jonathan Hastings cruised at Nos. 5 and 6 with wins of 6-0, 6-1 and 6-3, 6-4, respectively.
