GRANTHAM, Pa. - Messiah dealt Lebanon Valley a 7-2 loss in Commonwealth Conference play on Tuesday.
The Dutchmen (5-7, 1-1 CC) fell for the first time in league play this season despite a pair of wins by
Cody Manmiller, who continued his strong spring.
LVC's points came via No. 2 doubles, where
Sam Calabria and Manmiller won 8-6, and at No. 3 singles, where Manmiller took a straight-set victory over Pete Shuck 6-2, 6-3. Both the doubles duo and Manmiller pushed their CC records to 2-0 this season.
Lebanon Valley is back in action Thursday, hosting Alvernia at 3:30 p.m.
