Penn State Harrisburg 6, Lebanon Valley 3
ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley played its final non-conference match of the season, falling 6-3 at home to Penn State Harrisburg on Thursday.
The Lions took a 2-1 lead through doubles with wins at the top two spots, then secured the match with singles victories at Nos. 1, 2, 4, and 6.
Sam Calabria and
Cody Manmiller provided all three LVC points, combining to win 8-2 at No. 3 doubles before Calabria beat Alex Koltun 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3 singles and Manmiller won 6-2, 6-0 over Tyler Loy at No. 5.
LVC was competitive in other matches, including
Andrew Wilson's hard-fought No. 4 loss in a third-set tiebreak to Vincent Lepore, 6-1, 4-6 (10-4), and
Nick Jones battling back against Austin King before falling 6-1, 7-6 (2) at No. 6.
The Dutchmen host Messiah on Saturday in the regular-season finale.
