Lebanon Valley 6, Arcadia 3

ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley moved to 2-0 with a 6-3 win over Arcadia on Saturday.

The Dutchmen were led by strong doubles play, going up 3-0 before splitting the singles matches with the Knights.

Ryan Weitzel had a pair of wins for LVC, teaming with Pat Jones for a 9-7 battle at No. 1 doubles before cruising to a 6-0, 6-2 win over Vincent Voulo at No. 1 singles. Sam Calabria worked with Eric Rebellato for an 8-6 win at No. 3 doubles, then beat Wesley Wei 7-5, 6-0 at No. 2 singles for his second victory.

Brent Greco also picked up a singles win for LVC, beating Darren Stochmal 7-6 (10-8), 6-3, and he and Jordan Shankroff won 8-5 at No. 2 doubles over Voulo and Marc Ruggia.

LVC will host Eastern on Oct. 10.
