Lebanon Valley 8, Susquehanna 1

SELINSGROVE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley had little difficulty in its 2013-14 opener, cruising to an 8-1 win at Susquehanna.

The Dutchmen (1-0) won all three doubles matches and five of six singles to start their season off on the right foot.

Ryan Weitzel was twice a winner at No. 1 doubles and singles, teaming with Brent Greco for an 8-5 win in doubles before getting past Jeremy Neville 6-4, 6-1 in singles play.

Sam Calabria beat Ian Endresen 7-6 (3), 6-1 at No. 3 singles, and teamed with Eric Rebellato for an 8-5 victory at No. 3 doubles, Rebellato's first collegiate victory. Jordan Shankroff was a 7-5, 6-2 winner over Ryan Van Valin at No. 4, and worked with Andrew Wilson to win 8-2 at No. 2 doubles.

Greco won 7-5, 6-2 at No. 5 singles, and Pat Jones was a 6-3, 6-4 winner at No. 6. Susquehanna's only point came from Brandon Feldstein at No. 2, 6-4, 7-5 over Wilson.

LVC will host Arcadia next Saturday.
