ANNVILLE, Pa. - Defending Commonwealth Conference champion Elizabethtown proved to be a tough task for Lebanon Valley as the Blue Jays won 9-0 on Saturday.

The Dutchmen (4-8, 1-1 CC) battled through singles but couldn't take a point off the Blue Jays (8-2, 2-0 CC) as they suffered their first conference loss of the season.

Ethan Grodzinski's match at No. 1 with Josh Riehl highlighted the match; after a tight first set went to Riehl 7-6 (4), Grodzinski fought back to win the second set 1-6, but Riehl closed out with a 6-3 third-set victory. Cody Manmiller went to a third-set tiebreak but fell to Joe Kirchner 6-2, 6-7 (3), 10-2 at No. 6.

LVC will host Albright on Wednesday afternoon.
