ANNVILLE, Pa. - Men's tennis secured a Commonwealth Conference playoff spot, blanking a short-handed Hood squad 9-0 on Saturday.
The Dutchmen (7-9, 3-2 CC) received three points via forfeit and cruised through singles, allowing only a single point. LVC's seeding in the CC tournament will depend on the results of the upcoming final week of the regular season.
Ethan Grodzinski,
Ryan Weitzel, and
Jordan Shankroff all worked shutouts in singles, and
Andrew Wilson won 6-0, 6-1. Wilson and Shankroff won 8-0 at No. 2 doubles, with Grodzinski and Weitzel 8-2 victors at No. 1.
The Dutchmen wrap up the regular season next Saturday at Alvernia.
