Lebanon Valley 8, Immaculata 1

IMMACULATA, Pa. - A trio of three-set wins helped Lebanon Valley deal Immaculata only its second loss of the season in an 8-1 men's tennis match on Wednesday.

The Dutchmen (6-9) were led by three-setters from Ethan Grodzinski at No. 1, Andrew Wilson at No. 3, and Jordan Shankroff at No. 4 to secure the match after leading 3-0 through doubles.

Grodzinski held off Troy Donata to win 6-1, 1-6, 6-0, but Wilson had to rally from a set down to win 2-6, 7-6 (10-8), 10-8 in a close match. Shankroff won 6-1, 0-6, 12-10 over Nicholas Coia. IU's lone point came at No. 6, where Cody Manmiller couldn't come back against Todd Stokley in three, 6-4, 2-6, 10-6. Ryan Weitzel won at No. 2, 6-3, 6-3, and Sam Calabria was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at No. 5.

LVC will return home for the final time in 2013 to host Hood on Saturday.
