ANNVILLE, Pa. - LVC ran up against a tough Ursinus team and fell, 9-0, in men's tennis action on Saturday.

The Dutchmen (2-1) battled in doubles and were unlucky not to win a match despite winning 19 points across the three matches. Ethan Grodzinski and Ryan Weitzel took No. 1 to a tiebreak but fell 9-8 (7-5) to Evan Stuchin and Dylan Marsh, Andrew Wilson and Jordan Shankroff lost 8-5 at No. 2 to Tyler Arsenault and John Elbogen, and at No. 3, Pat Jones and Sam Calabria were defeated 8-6 by Dalton Lynch and Mike Melchiorre.

It was all Bears in singles as they took five matches in straight sets. Andrew Wilson battled the longest for LVC, taking Marsh to a breaker at No. 3 5-7, 6-1 (10-1).

At No. 1, Stuchin beat Grodzinski 6-2, 6-3, and Arsenault was a 6-2, 7-5 winner over Weitzel. Elbogen dealt Calabria a 6-4, 6-3 setback at No. 4, and Lynch blanked Shankroff 6-0, 6-0. Melchiorre capped the match with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Jones.

LVC will head to MAC Individual Championships next weekend.
