HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - Lebanon Valley picked up another win on its spring break trip to Hilton Head, beating fellow MAC member Eastern University 6-3 on Thursday.

The Dutchmen (4-5) went up 2-1 with wins at Nos. 1 and 3 doubles, then took four singles matches to top the Eagles (3-2).

Ryan Weitzel stood out in singles, rallying back from a first-set tiebreak loss to beat Tyler Hoagland at No. 3, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, 10-6. Other singles wins for LVC included Tom Neckelmann over Dan Wilson at No. 2, 6-1, 6-2; Andrew Wilson defeating Ryan Dykstra 6-4, 6-2 at No. 5; and Joel Ramos beating Herschel Dube 6-1, 6-2 at No. 6.

At No. 1, Bryan Arnett defeated Ethan Grodzinski in three, 4-6, 6-4, 10-3, and Jonny Shenk was a 7-5, 7-5 winner over Kyle Kahl at No. 4.

LVC will finish off its spring break trip Friday against Mount Saint Mary College.
