WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Lebanon Valley College men's tennis defeated King's College, 6-3, on Wednesday in LVC's final tune-up before postseason play begins this weekend.
The Dutchmen (9-6, 3-3 Commonwealth) swept doubles and won in the middle singles flights over the Monarchs (8-11, 3-3 Freedom). The Dutchmen have qualified for the CC playoffs as the #4 seed, and will visit Elizabethtown next Wednesday after taking part in the MAC Individual Championships this weekend.

Brad Sweigart, and
Jon Gingrich all picked up wins, with Sweigart making his spring debut for the Dutchmen. Deckert defeated Mike Steinberger at No. 3 in three in a marathon 7-6 (9-7), 2-6, 10-6 comeback win, while Sweigart beat Nick Conte 6-4, 6-1 at No. 4 and Gingrich beat David Chen 6-3, 6-2 at No. 5.

Ethan Grodzinski in three, 6-4, 6-7 (4-7), 10-4, and
Tim Carroll beat
Tom Neckelmann 6-1, 6-3 at No. 2. PT Roman was a 6-2, 7-5 winner over
