WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The LVC men's tennis team bounced back with a 6-3 Commonwealth Conference victory at Lycoming Thursday afternoon.
The Dutchmen (7-6, 2-1 CC) had to claw back from being 2-1 down at doubles, winning every singles flight but No. 1 to earn the team victory over the Warriors (1-4, 0-2 CC).
At No. 1, Lycoming's Robert Brown topped
Matt Grodzinski, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4, but LVC rallied to win the next five matches.
At No. 2,
Jared Zeigler was a 7-5, 6-4 winner over Alex Beattie, and
Tom Neckelmann worked three sets to beat Christian Roesel, 3-6, 6-4, 6-1.
Brad Sweigart won 6-4, 6-3 over Phillip Shannon at No. 4,
Jon Gingrich was a 6-0, 6-3 winner against John Stutzman at No. 5, and
Andrew Levin topped John McDonough 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6.
