Three Flying Dutchmen Named to All-MAC Freedom Women’s Tennis Team

NEWTOWN, Pa. –  The Lebanon Valley College women's tennis team garnered recognition from the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) on Monday, May 4, as the conference office announced that three members of the program were named to the All-MAC Freedom Women's Tennis Team. Junior Catherine Stone was honored on the First Team, while senior Sarah McComas and sophomore Katie Berra were listed on the Second Team.  

Stone was chosen to the All-MAC Freedom Team for the second time in her career, as the junior was selected to the Second Team last season. In the 2025-26 regular season, she led the team in singles victories and tied for second in doubles wins. During the campaign, the junior posted a 13-2 singles dual record and a 12-6 doubles dual record with a 4-2 mark against conference opponents. The junior came through with several key singles efforts during the season, including a 6-1, 6-0 singles victory in the 6-1 win at Misericordia University on April 11. In doubles competition, her top matches included the 6-1 doubles victory with sophomore Erika Badner during the win at Misericordia. Stone was recognized for her production during the year, as she earned the MAC Freedom Player of the Week award on March 31. 

McComas received All-Conference honors for the third time in her career, as the senior has been recognized on the All-MAC Freedom Second Team in each of the past two years. During the regular season, she ranked fifth on the team in doubles wins and tied for fifth in singles victories. McComas finished the campaign with an 9-7 doubles record in dual play with a 5-1 mark in MAC Freedom matches, while also tallying eight singles wins for the Dutchmen. The senior was 3-2 in conference matches at number one singles. She delivered several impactful doubles performances during the year, including a 6-3 doubles victory with senior Nikki Denbowski in the win at Misericordia. McComas also registered an important 6-1, 6-0 singles victory in the 7-0 win over DeSales on April 21.  

Berra was named to the All-MAC Freedom Team for the second time in her career, as the sophomore was listed as an Honorable Mention in 2025. In the regular season, she ranked tied for second in singles victories and fourth in doubles wins. The sophomore concluded the year with a 12-3 singles dual record, including a 4-1 mark against conference opponents. Berra also logged a 13-4 doubles record in dual matches for Lebanon Valley, including eight wins with junior Megan Martin, which led the program's doubles teams. Her top singles performances of the year included a 6-2, 6-0 singles victory during the win at Misericordia. The sophomore posted multiple key doubles efforts as well, including a 6-1 doubles victory in the win at Misericordia. Berra was presented with a pair of awards for her efforts during the season, being chosen as the MAC Freedom Player of the Week twice.
