KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Lebanon Valley Women's and Men's Soccer programs were honored with the Team Academic Award by the United Soccer Coaches with the announcement of the award winners for the 2024-25 academic year by the organization.
The United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award recognizes teams that posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2024-25 academic year. The Dutchmen were one of 151 schools that had both their men's and women's programs honored. In total 697 soccer teams (283 men, 414 women) earned the award.
The women's squad posted a team GPA of 3.60 under Head Coach
Frank Carrozza. The Dutchmen had 19 honorees on the MAC Academic Honor Roll in the fall for having a semester GPA of 3.2 or higher and then placed nine on the EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll for sophomores and above who have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.4.
The men's squad posted a team GPA of 3.46 under Head Coach
Charlie Grimes. The team placed 22 student-athletes on the MAC Academic Honor Roll in the fall and then had nine Dutchmen named to the EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll.
This is the second time in the past three seasons that both squads have earned the Team Academic Award.
