10 Dutchmen Named to 2025 CSC Academic All-District® Cross Country/Track and Field Teams

ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley Cross Country and Track and Field teams had a total of 10 student-athletes named Academic All-District® by College Sports Communicators (CSC) in a release by the professional organization on Tuesday.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Cross Country/Track and Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes cross country/track and field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. NCAA and NAIA Men's Academic All-America® First-, second- and third-team honorees will be announced on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
 
The 10 Dutchmen honorees are Lauren Assante, Coyla Bartholomew, Joe Chukoskie, Michael De Falcis, Aonghas Evanick, Autumn Garges, Abigail Hunt, Melena Koutch, Elijah McKell, and Sam Rothstein. De Falcis was selected as a finalist for Academic All-America®.
 
Assante is a senior Early Childhood Education and Special Education major from Brick, New Jersey. The thrower finished on the podium twice at the MAC Indoor and Outdoor Championships. Assante was sixth in the weight throw at the Indoor Championships with a toss of 14.57 meters (47'9.75"). Her season-best mark of 14.87 meters (48'9.5") was seventh in the Mid-Atlantic Region. At the Outdoor Championships, she was eighth in the hammer throw with a career-best mark of 44.02 meters (144'5") which was 13th in the region. This is her second consecutive year earning Academic All-District honors.
 
Bartholomew is a junior Exercise Science major from Danville, Pennsylvania. The distance runner earned All-MAC honors in all three seasons this year. Bartholomew finished seventh at the Cross Country Championships with a time of 23:05.4 and then earned All-Region honors with a career-best time of 22:02.9 at the Mid-Atlantic Region Championships to finish 22nd.  The junior finished on the podium twice at the Indoor Championships as she placed second in the 3000 meters with a time of 10:22.79 and fourth in the 5000 meters with a time of 18:17.57. Her career-best 3k time of 10:22.69 was 16th in the region while her season-best 5k time of 18:02.61 was 20th. At the Outdoor Championships, she won the 3000 Steeplechase with a time of 11:04.76 and finished seventh in the 5000 meters with a time of 18:38.17. Her career-best Steeplechase time of 10:58.16 was fifth in the region and 37th in the nation. This is her second consecutive year earning Academic All-District honors.
 
Chukoskie is a junior Exercise Science major from Kempton, Pennsylvania. The distance runner earned All-MAC First Team honors at all three conference championships this year and reached the podium in five events. He began the year with a seventh place finish at the Cross Country Championships with a time of 26:48.5. His career-best time of 25:18.2 at the Mid-Atlantic Region Championships earned his All-Region honors with a 25th-place finish. Chukoskie won the 5000 meters at the Indoor Championships with a time of 14:59.43 and finished fourth in the 3000 meters with a season-best time of 8:42.09. His season-best 5k time of 14:47.79 was ranked eighth in the region while his 3k time was 17th. Chukoskie reached the podium in both distance races at the Outdoor Championships as he won the 10,000 meters in 31:13.46 and finished third in the 5000 meters with a time of 14:53.60. He earned All-Region honors in both events as his career-best 5k time of 14:27.48 was fifth in the region and his career-best 10k time of 30:25.07 was fourth.
 
De Falcis is a senior Exercise Science major from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The thrower won the MAC title in the javelin and earned Second Team All-America honors at the NCAA Championships. De Falcis threw a career-best mark of 64.27 meters (210'10" at the MAC Outdoor Championships to win his second conference title and qualify for the National Championships for the second time in his career. He then finished 11th with a throw of 59.43 meters (195'0") to earn Second Team honors. His career-best mark in the javelin was second in the region and 11th in the nation. This is the second time he has earned Academic All-District honors.
 
Evanick is a senior History and Education major from Souderton, Pennsylvania. The thrower finished on the podium in three events this year at the MAC Championships. He finished fourth in the weight throw at the Indoor Championships with a career-best toss of 15.36 meters (50'4.75"). That mark was seventh in the region. At the Outdoor Championships he finished second in the discus with a toss of 47.11 meters (154'7") and sixth in the hammer with a career-best throw of 49.07 meters (161'0"). His second-best discus throw of 47.26 meters (155'1") was sixth in the region while his hammer throw was ranked seventh.
 
Garges is a junior Digital Communications major from Coopersburg, Pennsylvania. The mid-distance runner earned All-MAC honors during all three seasons. Garges began the year with an eighth-place finish at the Cross Country Championships with a time of 23:16.2. She then ran a career-best time of 22:27.4 at the Mid-Atlantic Region Championships to finish 34th and earn All-Region honors. She then finished third in the mile at the Indoor Championships with a career-best time of 5:05.41 and finished seventh in the 3000 meters with a time of 10:33.71. Her mile time was ranked 13th in the region. Garges finished on the podium three times during the Outdoor Championships as she was fourth in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:43.24, eighth in the 5000 meters with a time of 18:40.26 and was the anchor leg on LVC's 4x800 relay team that won in 9:31.14. Her career-best 800 meters time of 2:16.00 was 13th in the region while her career-best 1500 meters time of 4:40.97 was ranked 16th.
 
Hunt is a junior Exercise Science major from Millersville, Maryland. The mid-distance runner earned All-MAC honors in all three seasons and reached the podium four times at the Track and Field Championships. Hunt finished 17th at the Cross Country Championships with a time of 24:17.4 and earned All-Region honors with a career-best time of 22:30.0 to finish 35th at the Mid-Atlantic Region Championships. At the Indoor Championships, Hunt finished ninth in the mile with a time of 5:24.39 and reached the podium twice on a pair of relays as the 4x800 meter relay finished third in 10:07.51 and the DMR was also third in 12:36.49. At the Outdoor Championships, she finished sixth in the 1500 meters with a career-best time of 4:48.20 and was the second leg on the 4x800 meter relay team that won in 9:31.14.  
 
Koutch is a senior Communications Sciences and Disorders major from Salisbury, Pennsylvania. The jumper finished fifth in the high jump at the MAC Indoor Championships with a season-best height of 1.58 meters (5'25"). Her height was ninth in the region. At the Outdoor Championships, Koutch finished ninth in the high jump with a height of 1.54 meters (5'0.5"). Her season-best height of 1.55 meters (5'1") was ranked 13th in the region. This is her second consecutive year earning Academic All-District honors.
 
McKell is a junior Exercise Science major from Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. The mid-distance runner won the 800 meters at MAC Indoor and Outdoor Championships. He also reached the podium in six events while earning All-Region honors twice. McKell won the Indoor 800 meters in a season-best time of 1:55.74. He also anchored the 4x800 meter relay team that won in 7:58.11 and anchored the 4x400 relay team that finished fourth in 3:31.81. His 800 time was ranked fifth in the region. The junior continued his conference dominance in the 800 meters as he won his fifth consecutive title at the Outdoor Championships with a career-best time of 1:52.19. He also anchored the 4x800 relay that finished second in 7:45.02 and the 4x400 relay that finished second in 3:18.20. McKell's 800 time was ranked fourth in the region. This is his second consecutive year earning Academic All-District honors.
 
Rothstein is a junior Business Administration and Economics major from Mount Joy, Pennsylvania. The mid-distance runner had a strong year earning two All-MAC honors and finishing on the podium at the track and field conference championships in two events. Rothstein finished 23rd at the Cross Country Championships with a time of 27:33.7 and was 50th at the Mid-Atlantic Region Championships with a time of 25:58.2. He reached the podium in the mile at the Indoor Championships with a time of 4:28.22 to finish sixth. At the Outdoor Championships, Rothstein finished ninth in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:04.11 and was the second leg on LVC's 4x800 relay team that finished second in 7:45.02. This is his second consecutive year earning Academic All-District honors.
