INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Lebanon Valley College throwers

Nick Guerieri, and
Ian Paul have been announced as qualifiers in the javelin for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships to be held next weekend at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
The men's javelin will be contested at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, the first day of the Championships. This is the fourth consecutive year that LVC has a men's qualifier at the Outdoor Championships and the third consecutive year LVC has a qualifier in the javelin. Last year Paul earned Second Team All-America honors with a 13th-place finish and two years ago De Falcis finished 20th.
De Falcis makes his second trip to the National Championships after winning the Middle Atlantic Conference Championship with a career-best throw of 64.27 meters (210'10") which is 11th in the nation. Guerieri earns his first trip to Nationals after finishing second at the MAC Championships with a career-best throw of 62.63 meters (205'6") which is 16th in the country. Paul makes his second consecutive trip to the National meet after he threw his qualifying mark at the Danny Curran Invitational with a mark of 61.83 meters (202'10") which winded up being the final qualifying spot at 22nd. The senior threw a career-best mark of 62.32 meters (204'5") to qualify for last year's championship.
Fitchburg State junior Liam Bourassa is the top seed with a throw of 68.99 meters (226'4") at the New England Championships. Bridgewater State senior Corey Stalters had the second-best throw at that meet and the second-best in the nation with a mark of 68.94 meters (226'2"). Ursinus sophomore Jayden McKeen is seeded third at 68.31 meters (224'1") which he threw at the Ursinus Festival. Defending Champion Cody Wheeler of Whitworth is seeded 10th with a mark of 64.82 meters (212'8") at the Whitworth Peace Meet. Last year's runner-up, Ohio Wesleyan's Trey Theobald is seeded 13th with a throw of 63.37 meters (207'11") at the SPIRE Last Chance Meet.
