Box Score FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Lebanon Valley Men's Tennis team fought through more rain but earned a few wins on the second day of the ITA Southeast Regional Championships at University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Adam Warren won his first singles match of the day in the Championship consolation bracket with an 8-1 victory over Dickinson College's Drew Allen. His next match will be in the round of 16 where he will face Vincent Truong of Christopher Newport University.
Zach Schrader also advanced to the round of 16 in the Championship consolation bracket with an 8-6 victory over Lorenzo Neri of Catholic University. Schrader's next opponent has not been decided yet.
Warren and Schrader saw their doubles run come to an end with a tough 6-2 defeat to Jorge Urgal and Tiziano Chialva in the consolation of the Championship bracket.
Michael Schuetz and
Ethan Luu fell in the quarterfinals of the B2 Doubles bracket to Washington College's Oskar Wrobleski and Sihoo Kim by a score of 8-1. The duo came back and defeated Saint Mary's College of Maryland's Andrew Hand and Michael Shively 6-4 in the consolation semifinals. They will play in the consolation Final where they will face another duo from SMC in Maxwell Esztergomi and Jacob Nelson.
Barring any more rain and delays the Regional Championship is scheduled to conclude on Sunday.
